Behind the glass is a … daffodil. An extremely large, three foot tall daffodil in a cute terracotta plant pot. Except, amnesiac or not, you are probably pretty sure that plants do not have faces or a carnivore’s teeth; they do not look at you; they do not wave at you with a leafy vine and say, “Holy shit, dude, finally.”
