[You exit the parlor through a doorway in your team's color and find yourself in some kind of entry hall. Aside from the one behind you, there are four doors - one on each of the side walls, and two opposite the entrance - each with an image carved into it. They're a bit hard to make out, however, since only one torch on the far wall is lit, lending the place a gloomy atmosphere. What you can see is that the room, once richly decorated, is now a mess; the walls are covered in peeling, royal purple wallpaper, and great swaths of the ceiling are coated with sticky cobwebs. The floor is covered with large marble tiles, inlaid with some kind of swirling design in glittering gold - but sadly, it too is out of shape. The tiles seem to shift a bit under your weight, and some of them are even missing altogether.

If you try the doors you'll find that all of them are locked, and no amount of manhandling can get them to budge.]

[OOC: This game is a treasure hunt/dungeon crawl! Your characters will be exploring the rooms they pass through and facing different challenges in each one. Some rooms will be exploratory, others will have specific rules! The goal is just to reach the end. Teams will be scored on things like teamwork, cleverness, creativity, etc.

Skills are ON, but there will be penalties if you mess up Knut's castle. He lives here, you know!]

[Reyson investigated the desk, but you can now see it as well. There's various things on top- a stack of papers, some pencils and paperclips, a vase, an ashtray, a ring of keys (which Reyson took...will take? TIMEY WIMEY). There's also a drawer underneath that he has already/will eventually open.

[Okay, jumping down to the bottom cushion. Then gonna get behind a bottom cushion and PUSH until it's half on the couch and floor, no reason not to make an easier to climb incline to get back to the floor.]

[And make the good decision of heading towards the kitchen.]

[You do the thing and go to the place, heading into the kitchen. Away from the exit door. But sure, why not! Maybe there will be something useful in here. There's cupboards and counters to the right, appliances to the left.

Oh, yeah, and a tiny, fuzzy black kitten with a big pink bow, napping in front of the stove, since that's what you were really looking for isn't it.]

[Well, I wanted to case the joint for the cat, but.]

[The only thing that would be more tempting was if it was in a dapper suit or had four eyes.]

[The kitty is sleeping and doesn't notice you as you approach- but look at that sweet widdle face and the tiny ickle paws! Can you really resist?]

[The kitten stirs slightly at the smell]

[Oh no, it's too cute.]

[And I go to the side and scratch it between the ears? How big is this kitten compared to me anyway?]

[All very touching, but Zelos swooping in to grab her hand like a bandit. Yep yep.]

Door's open, sorry. Think you could put some stuff in your sylladex before we go?

[And dropping her off at the wedges. There's a big one and a small one and Zelos is sure it's probably just to piss him off :.|]

[The most put upon sigh.] Yeah, I can carry them. That stuff is more than small enough. [Card making GO]

[The ruckus stirs the kitty, by the way. She meows softly and blinks at you both in confusion, as though confused why she's in this route. Somewhere in the castle, the gamemaster scrambles to figure out who's supposed to be going where.

You can get in a quick scritch before you go. Baby kitten is like the size of a bear compared to you.]
