[You are ushered out of the parlor and into a cozy sitting room. The storm continues to rage outside, but a roaring fire keeps the room nice and toasty.

As you enter, you find your clothes have changed to something vaguely 1940s Noir-ish and appropriate to your character. You all look very dapper, though you may be surprised to suddenly find yourself cross-dressing. At the same time, knowledge suddenly enters your mind- the role you will be playing in tonight's performance, information on some of your fellow guests, and the rules of the game, as well as the setup for the story.]

[The only footprints belong to the gardener and the butler, who erected the canopy. This is easily confirmed.]

I guess it wouldn't be that easy. They must have gotten whatever they were after when they pushed him over. Um. You wear these clothes to bed, right? Could you check where he sleeps? Since I guess you'd know that being his wife now and all.

The bedroom contains a king-size four-poster bed, all rich mahogany and silk sheets, a chaise lounge, a large dresser, a ceiling high bookshelf, a window seat, and a walk-in closet. There are several paintings on the walls.]

[Under the bed you find several pairs of shoes and some dust bunnies.

The bed is very neatly made. It obviously wasn't slept in last night.]

[The bookshelf is packed with novels of every genre, but mostly fantasy or cheesy romance. There's too many to check each one, but you don't see anything immediately unusual.]

[The drawers are full of clothes! Everything is very nice quality, but you don't see anything out of the ordinary here.]
