TAKSHAKA
[A thick mist descends, obscuring everything but a small area around you and your teammates. There's a sudden feeling of distance . . . and you find yourselves in a new patch of garden. Grass is thick and springy underfoot, but more noticeable is the picnic blanket, the picnic baskets filled with building supplies, and the toothpick skeleton of a large castle. Perched atop of it, waving merrily in the breeze, is a flag of your team's color and animal.]
You have 100 points to spend on parts. Choose wisely.
[Each picnic basket has a label tacked to the handle, indicating what each item costs.]
[Walls:
- Tea cosy walls (10 points)
- Teacup walls (20 points)
- Mirror walls (30 points)
Guards:
- Scone guards (10 points)
- Teapot guards (20 points)
- Clockwork guards (30 points)
Moats:
- Empty moat (10 points)
- Moat with mirror shards (20 points)
- Moat with hot tea (30 points)
Offense:
Catapults
- Crumpet catapult (10 points)
- Cuckoo catapult (20 points)
- Clock catapult (30 points)
Arrows
- Ladyfinger arrows (10 points)
- Rose arrows (20 points)
- Mirror shard arrows (30 points)
Spears
- Sunflower spears (10 points)
- Cocktail umbrella spears (20 points)
- Wine glass spears (30 points)]
[In addition to the labelled supplies, there are many more that come without a cost. Paints, squishy blocks that can be moulded as you please, finger foods, anything you'd find at a tea party, bits pieces of clocks (as well as whole ones), mouldable sheets of highly reflective glass, and a few rolls of fabric . . . You instinctively know that they'll add nothing to your offence or defence, but they're there to use as you see fit.]

Castle
Clockwork Guards – 30
Moat with Hot Tea – 30
Sunflower Spears – 10
[Takshaka's castle is . . . A SUPER FLUFFY MIRROR CLOUD. It's so fluffy. So fluffy. It also bears a pair of clockwork wings, flared open wide. It's hard to say whether they're a welcome or a warning . . .
Should any attacker survive the moat of hot tea, they'll find the ground immediately outside of the castle littered with OH SO DANGEROUS SUNFLOWER SPEARS OH NO. And then, there's the guards to deal with. Fearsome clockwork guards, each one with their own little pair of gears-and-wires clockwork wings.]
Round 2: ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK
[And then you are given a list of attacks, all of them written in neat, loopy manuscript on the page of a lavender notebook]
Low Attacks
- Nuts and bolts and gears and things in a slingshot
- Flower petals in a slingshot
- Parasol swords
- Tea saucer discs
- Crumpet crumbs
High Attacks
- HURRY UP PLEASE IT'S TIME (a giant cuckoo clock with a boxing glove where the bird should be)
- Bubbling hot strawberry jam
- Butter knife spears
- Steamed tea bags
- Shattered cup and plate shards

Anyway, we should pick the swords.

[rolls her eyes]

Parasols are umbrellas, aren't they? They're blunt. I don't mind using them . . . It's the high attacks that pose the problem.

. . . Intermission?
[Once you've decided on a course of action, reply with OFFENSE or DEFENSE and the team name (if you decide to steal), or PASS if you decide not to]

Results
[But in addition to those saucers, hot tea bags rain down on your castle from above! They melt your guards and leave a few burned patches on your castle walls, but nothing is knocked down completely. You've taken low damage]
[You may go to endgame]
