TAKSHAKA
[A thick mist descends, obscuring everything but a small area around you and your teammates. There's a sudden feeling of distance . . . and you find yourselves in a new patch of garden. Grass is thick and springy underfoot, but more noticeable is the picnic blanket, the picnic baskets filled with building supplies, and the toothpick skeleton of a large castle. Perched atop of it, waving merrily in the breeze, is a flag of your team's color and animal.]
You have 100 points to spend on parts. Choose wisely.
[Each picnic basket has a label tacked to the handle, indicating what each item costs.]
[Walls:
- Tea cosy walls (10 points)
- Teacup walls (20 points)
- Mirror walls (30 points)
Guards:
- Scone guards (10 points)
- Teapot guards (20 points)
- Clockwork guards (30 points)
Moats:
- Empty moat (10 points)
- Moat with mirror shards (20 points)
- Moat with hot tea (30 points)
Offense:
Catapults
- Crumpet catapult (10 points)
- Cuckoo catapult (20 points)
- Clock catapult (30 points)
Arrows
- Ladyfinger arrows (10 points)
- Rose arrows (20 points)
- Mirror shard arrows (30 points)
Spears
- Sunflower spears (10 points)
- Cocktail umbrella spears (20 points)
- Wine glass spears (30 points)]
[In addition to the labelled supplies, there are many more that come without a cost. Paints, squishy blocks that can be moulded as you please, finger foods, anything you'd find at a tea party, bits pieces of clocks (as well as whole ones), mouldable sheets of highly reflective glass, and a few rolls of fabric . . . You instinctively know that they'll add nothing to your offence or defence, but they're there to use as you see fit.]

Re: Round 1: BUILD BUILD BUILD
We'd like to max out defense.
Re: Round 1: BUILD BUILD BUILD
I feel the same way, but that'd leave us with barely any points for offense. Let's focus on defense, but leave some over...how about take seventy points for defense, and use the remaining thirty on attacks?

[he might be being a little melodramatic here, since it's not like they're actually stuck in the fortress]

[PATS HIM ON THE ARM.]
A good defense is the best offense, yes? And we'll still have ten points left over to buy some spears. Our castle will not fall.
Re: Round 1: BUILD BUILD BUILD
[he's still frowning]
Well, there isn't really time to argue. Are you certain?
