RATATOSKR
[when you insert the key and open the door, you'll find another humble cottage - the space bends on the walls, but there is a single door that leads to another room; though the door is closed, you can see through it—as if it's somewhat transparent. a wooden cradle sits in a plain room.
inside, a baby sleeps peacefully. when she stirs - calling for her parent, you are there to cradle her back to sleep.]
-
[slowly, the scene changes, fading in and out with various silent scenes—the baby coos pleasantly, giggling jovially when you (presumably) make faces at her; she tries to pick herself up and falls over, but she does not cry; a disagreement between you and her lead to a thoughtful discussion; the young girl carries a large laundry basket to do chores; she buys a pet bird, looking so proud for having earned the money all by herself; then the wall becomes opaque.]
[in the middle of the open doorway, a young girl the age of 10 stands, smiling at you. a bird with beautiful plumage rests on her shoulder.]
[this is your daughter. you tried your best to rear her, and she's been good to you. you know she is capable of anything if she puts her mind to it - even becoming a princess. but you also know it's not easy to become a princess - better she become a princess than go off to war, though. you could not stand to see your baby girl die on the battlefield. what will be will be, though - all you can do is try your best.]

DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
Maybe take a charm class for both int and dil?
Re: DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
She's a knight, so she should defs help the other kids. But if she's got a...silver tongue? then she should be bale to convince all the kids to stand with her and make a protest to the teacher and we can go with 'em?
...and if the teach still won't help, they can all defend each other against the bully? If we're with for the protest and there's a problem later, then it means we can point out the teacher wasn't doin' their job if they're supposed to watch these kids.
Re: DISCUSSION
Well, trying to convince her to fight the bully herself would pretty much fly in the face of the advice we've given her before. Not that I'd seriously suggest that anyway, but you know. So that sounds like a plan to me.
Plus, if she's going to end up as a princess....she needs to learn what it's like to support and be supported by those around her during a crisis.
Re: DISCUSSION
And she shouldn't ever have to feel like she's isolated. Even without being a princess, no one should have to fight alone. If you help others, they'll help you, and you'll have the support to have meaningful friendships.
It'll be good for her to lead it to with us as support. We're there for her, but she's able to take charge herself.
Re: DISCUSSION
Want to talk to her this time?

MORAL DILEMMA
What do you do?]
Re: MORAL DILEMMA
There are two ways for royalty to lead. One is the way through fear, and one is through the way of trust. Fear may be easier to enforce, but fear is also the way where everyone is miserable and they want to get rid of you. But the way of trust? Trust is when the people will stand by you and support you because they know even if things go wrong, you are doing your best to ensure things are goin' all right.
Violet. [HELLO IMPROMPTU NAMING.] You want to be a princess. You're a knight regardless. A person to lead, a person to protect. And it's protection how you will earn trust. If you protect your people, help your people, respect your people, then they'll do the same to you. And it's the people who make the leader. [Gently brushing her hair back.] And that's why you can protect and don't need to stand alone.
Now we know you're a charming lady. [Go high charm score.] You know how to inspire. So we think you should talk to those kids being bullied and convince them all to stand with you and tell the teacher what is going on. Your mother and I will be there with you, but if you can lead it, then those kids will know you are a leader they can believe in. A leader they can respect, and a leader they can call friend, and you'll have their loyalty as long as you never betray it by being their friend in turn. With all of you together, you should be able to convince the teacher what is going on.
...but.
If the teacher is not a good leader, and doesn't protect the people they're supposed to be protecting, then you kids can protect each other from the bully. Don't overdo it, keep that temper in check, but you make sure that kid knows none of you will tolerate being mistreated. If the teacher kicks up a fuss, we'll make sure they had better do their job so you don't have to do it for him.
Re: MORAL DILEMMA
Unfortunately, after the week passes, there doesn't seem to be much of a change in the situation. . . the bully leaves whenever your daughter is there, but goes right back to bullying, and it turns out her teacher can hardly do anything, being that the bully is the child of the noble that governs this town.
But your daughter's moral compass is at an all-time good. She says she'll handle this, somehow.
Re: MORAL DILEMMA
[Well, then.]
[I think it's time to teacher daughter hot to do sneaky things.]
[Like how to hide in trees, or on rooftops, and get a slingshot with some paintballs. If the bully needs negative reinforcement, then he'll just have to learn she doesn't have to be around for people to mess with him.]
[Of course, she would teach to only fire when he's being a bully. Pavlov and all.]
[And would, in fact, encourage her to teach all her friends how to do it too. :3]
Re: MORAL DILEMMA
Only, with her current diligence level, she keeps falling out of the trees before she can get herself positioned. . . oops. . . . but she's practicing first before she tries it out on the bully so at least she's not criminally embarrassing herself.
Because she has decided to take matters in her own hand in vigilante justice, her moral compass has returned to neutral-good.
Re: MORAL DILEMMA
[Good girl, practicing. You'll be an excellent vigilante. MAMA SO PROUD.]
