Yeah. We weren't part of the military, though! We actually started out as their prisoners ... but I remember that was the only in we had to join them, at first.

It wasn't exactly jail! We got our hands bound, and I was taken to the captain ... but once I explained why I was there, he let me wander around, as long as I had a minder. But eventually, I didn't even really need that.

They didn't trust me at all, because of who I was. So I had to do something to show them that my only immediate goal there was to be able to meet Immelmann.
