[You step into a very comfy, cozy room! A log fire is burning in the hearth, protected by a metal grate patterned with silver rose briars. In the center of the room is a glass table, surrounded by comfy chairs and couches in your team’s color. There is a window, but it’s completely fogged over . . . from the outside.

At the start of the game you’ll find the following items on top of the table:

- a sealed envelope labelled “Instructions.”
- a large glass orb containing 15 team-colored gems. This is in the very center of the table, and cannot be moved, broken, or tampered with in any way. A plaque at the bottom reads “Bank.”
- 6 indestructible cards, currently blank.
- 3 grooves in the glass, each just the right size for you to slot one of those cards into.]

...Though, if you asked, I'm sure he'd teach you. He taught me how to make spaghetti the other night.

I'm not fond of being taught something, though. I'd rather I find out it's a skill I have or something; wouldn't that be easier?
