[You step into a very comfy, cozy room! A log fire is burning in the hearth, protected by a metal grate patterned with silver rose briars. In the center of the room is a glass table, surrounded by comfy chairs and couches in your team’s color. There is a window, but it’s completely fogged over . . . from the outside.

At the start of the game you’ll find the following items on top of the table:

- a sealed envelope labelled “Instructions.”
- a large glass orb containing 15 team-colored gems. This is in the very center of the table, and cannot be moved, broken, or tampered with in any way. A plaque at the bottom reads “Bank.”
- 6 indestructible cards, currently blank.
- 3 grooves in the glass, each just the right size for you to slot one of those cards into.]

We do lose, and I'm not letting some untrue motto about us make us think we can't opt for something slightly less upsetting so we don't possibly hurt somebody in another way.

And I am not letting the objections of one person override the feelings and opinions of four, particularly not an objection so inherently trivial.

It's not trivial! Peoples' memories aren't trivial, especially when it comes to having a choice to share them. I don't want to take that kind of choice away from somebody.

If the truth will come out eventually, and it will, then we it is best to do it now!

Not everything comes out eventually! And even if it's something that would, I don't want to be the one responsible for causing it. Not when there's a choice not to.

Lupus has already likely seen all their important memories.

That still doesn't matter to me. They're still memories that the owner should get to share as they please, even if their team has seen them a million times already.

We used it on someone already.

And at least they'd know that it was an effect from the game. We technically don't even have to use a third card at all, if you want to bring that up. I'd just ... rather not keep prying into other peoples' privacy like that. Since it happens so much already.

...Prying into people's privacy is something I know for a fact you do not have any issue with doing, Rook.

When I offer to gleefully murder everyone within the confines of a game and am outvoted and told not to do so, I capitulate.

Regardless of your experience you do not have any more right to run this team than I do, Rook, and I would thank you to remember that.

I know that much. But at least I'm doing the opposite of gleefully doing something bad to somebody else.

That does not give you the right to override everyone simply for your own selfish wishes.

The relative morality of them has nothing to do with the debate.

I'm not trying to override anyone! I just wanted to settle for something else that would still give us points in the end. It's not like I don't know how important getting memories back for everyone is.

It doesn't hurt you to not kill someone. But it hurts me to force somebody to do something they might not want to when there's a choice in the matter.
