[a pause, and then a warm, fond smile as she begins to speak]

Mm, my mother passed when I was young, and my father was always rather distant to the point of indifference. My sister was the only person I had in the world. She's strong and bold and brave, and she always took care of me. She put her dreams on hold to help me overcome my fears. My best memories are memories of her... Loving her made me braver than I ever thought I could be. I would do anything to keep her safe.

[after hurrying away for a few seconds she turns and launches the snowball at him, not helping the aim with her temporary powers just yet]

[this time, she uses the abilities she's been given to pop three or four snowballs, magically made, into her hands like a cheater]

[ He looks taken off guard for a second and then grins before launching a few more powdery attacks at her. ]

[she dodges one, but another hits, sending a white powder cascading down her hair! with a laugh she tosses hers at him with suspiciously good aim this time.]
