[ The Traveler steps in front of all of you, her arms raised dramatically! ]

Today, we take the first step of a very, very long journey together! This dream belongs to a young man, a criminal and his gang who on an otherwise normal heist has gotten in way over his head! Normally, this would be a nightmare, full of blood and death and abject horror!

Fortunately, I have taken the liberty of altering this dream so that it is completely safe and above all, fun! It would not do to have your first foray into the world of unreality to be so unwelcoming! The goal of this game is to survive, reach the end, and solve the mystery...

The mystery of the Train Tracker!

[her shadow twists and picks itself off the ground, throwing itself up as a barrier to the bullets]

[to the nervous man:] Get out of here.

[ He nods, and runs to the next car!

The WHITESUIT LAUGHS and just keeps shooting. ]

[through the gunfire:] Who are you? Why do you want to kill everyone?

Does it matter, all you gotta know is everyone on this train is dying!

[ He's reloading! ]

[then i guess i'm shooting you while you're doing that, with this machine gun]

[ Oh. I guess he's dead now.

The NERVOUS MAN cries. ]

[. . . casually looking over to the direction the nervous man went, and following. . . what's going on]

[ The NERVOUS MAN runs past you, before bumping into a RATHER LARGE MAN in a white suit, who has just exited his cabin. He seems upset, but the NERVOUS MAN apologizes, babbles something about having to find the conductor, and continues on.

The RATHER LARGE MAN scowls, but the sound of MACHINE GUNS intensifies, and suddenly he's skipping down the hall towards you, singing about how EXCITED he is.

Obvious exits are EAST, WEST, and NORTH. ]

. . . [frowns]

What are you so cheery about?

Didn't you hear all those gunshots? Something exciting is happening!

Let me guess. Everyone is going to die?

Everyone is going to DIE!

And you're going to kill everyone?

Maybe!

There's no point in doing that, the Train Tracker's going to kill everyone anyway.

The what now? That guy was talkin' about some Train Tracker, too!

Like I care! I'll kill him just as easy as everyone else! Especially if he thinks I can't kill him!

So you're not the one.

[weeeeelp, that means she's going to move past him and head to the direction nervous guy was going '-' (i don't remember which direction that is anymore)]

[ Wow, you're almost home free! You see some blacksuits talking to eachother...but then one turns his back, and the other is pulled out the WINDOW. The other turns, and starts freaking out, calling for back-up on his WALKIE-TALKIE...and then is also pulled out.

SOME MYSTERIOUS THINGS HAPPENING ON THIS TRAIN?

Kilo's status is 'WOUNDED'.

Obvious exits are WEST, EAST, NORTH, and WINDOW. ]

[. . . . running back to the car with the hatch!!!!! TIME TO GET UP THERE]

[ You go up through the hatch, to find yourself on the roof of the train. There doesn't really seem to be much up here, and if you could find another hatch it might be a easy way to get to the conductor's cabin!

...Seems really hard to climb across, though. One wrong step would mean death.

OBVIOUS EXITS ARE DOWN and EAST.

[that's okay i'm BADASS!!!!! also i have cheating shadow powers to attach me to the cars, let's go east]

[ The winds are picking up! You can just barely stay atop the train...but there still seem to be no ACTUAL OBSTACLES in your way. The next car looks like the front of the train! ]

[bending down to be on her fours, so that the wind doesn't hit her so hard /o/ CONTINUING FORWARD]

[ You reach the CONDUCTOR'S CAR. This is it! You've finally made it!

Except, looking over the edge, you can see A RED-HAIRED FIGURE COVERED IN BLOOD, GRINDING A BLACKSUITED MAN'S HAND AGAINST THE RAIL.

The BLACKSUIT is SCREAMING. The figure has SPOTTED YOU and drops him, leaving him to be crushed by the train. He is now climbing towards you, incredibly fast.

Obvious exists are WEST and DOWN. ]

[as much as she'd like to confront this person like this, it's hard to do it with the wind, so when the figure has come close enough, she'll be going downn]
