GULGALLANA

[ Once you enter the train, it takes off...moving for only a few moments before coming to a stop in the midst of the void Delriza's realm floats in.

There's still no sign of the echo herself, but fortunately it's at this point that the rules of the game burn themselves into your mind, like you always knew what you were supposed to be coming here for. ]

Okay, so. I think this goes without saying, but I can teleport. If that's still not enough to convince her to let me push her, I'll stay behind with her and push everyone else towards the station and walk them through airlock entry procedures. Once they're into the station they're going to hunt down some emergency oxygen supplies and bring it over here. Static and Ren will then work on ensuring the air leak is repaired, and then head back inside the station to perform diagnostics on the rescue craft to ensure there aren't going to be any issues.

Of course, all of this could be resolved much faster if she just let me push her from the start, then I can just teleport over and try and fix the air leak myself while everyone else hunts down the emergency oxygen supplies. And of course, if she does push me, I am going to teleport behind her and push her towards the station, too. Because I can do that and she can't.

We'll send our point to Alectryon.

And they're not even bothering to tell us how she died this time... I suppose 30 is the best we can get overall.

T-To be fair, well... everyone... you know.

Dies eventually? I am aware. Still, it raises the question of what it is we're trying to accomplish here. If it's just about avoiding an immediate death it's fine, but...

Hard to say. But, uh... If we consider our current situation, then it's not... necessarily "the end," either.

Though... I don't really know where I'm going with that, either.

Well, as it is, it seems like we're in repetition of life and death scenarios, with no attention being paid to the stuff we manage to pull off. Even if we manage to last years together, no attention at all is paid to it. It makes the entire thing seem pointless.

You think maybe that's how the game runner feels about it?

It's hard to be sure, but there's definitely an emphasis on the idea that the death is the most important part of it all. We're trying to avoid it, but of course it's impossible to avoid death forever.

It's... really sad if it's their... death that matters more than their life.

It is, yeah. That's... something we'll need to overpower, somehow.
