[You land in a boat in the midst of the sea. The boat itself is simple enough, with only two embellisments; a masthead in the shape of a pair of horse and goat’s heads, and a clunky-looking cannon sitting right in the middle. Fog surrounds you; you can barely see past the edge of the boat.

There are also a collection of rather sparkly Epona and Amalthea-coloured cannon balls at your feet.]

We have not yet managed to hit them. I believe they were in 4, then 5, and now likely 6--hence firing there.

After that, we should stay in 5 for a round. I feel... rather daring.

But forget that, because the answering cannon shot is SO LOUD AND CLOSE THAT IT COULD BE COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE. the only consolation is it's firing away to the north-east... not that that helps your ears.]

...they were on four, and fired at two. That means they could be on 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, or 8 now.

If we thought they were going to 6... Maybe it's the other way around. Maybe they're going to 3.

They would be thinking we wouldn't be stupid enough to waste a shot there. Those are ideal safe spots for them.

I don't think Takshaka's the type to think like that... that's more something Belt would do.

It's common sense. [ Something which Star seems to be lacking of these days in her mind. ]

Generally, if it is an advanced tactical idea that I would think of, it is beyond Takshaka's ken.
