But now things are different. You no longer work for the Empire, but for your homeland of Teutonia -- and to a lesser extent, the people you've come to associate here in Jambudvipa. With the magitech and bioengeering facilities placed at Landfall, you are prepared to claim this region for the fatherland.

What are you here for? To find a way to harness the power of these spirits for the good of all mankind. The march of progress cannot be stopped, not even by the supernatural.

Then, there are still a few avenues of inquiry I can use, but first, can I ask how the bioengineering's new work is going?

A vaccine or cure for leprosy would be a huge advantage: It seems that there are quite a few people who can read Ancient Jambud amongst them, and we may be able to use those as a bargaining chip for more information, in addition to the long-term advantages to not having to worry about leprosy affecting us.

There are currently no breakthroughs. For a leprosy vaccine or cure, we would require a sample.
