Years ago, you recieved a charter from the United Empire, and were officially made a member of the newly christened Trade Company! Your goal was to seek fortune wherever it may be found in this strange land...of course, through force of arms, if the natives failed to cooperate.

But now things are different. You no longer work for the Empire, but for your homeland of Teutonia -- and to a lesser extent, the people you've come to associate here in Jambudvipa. With the magitech and bioengeering facilities placed at Landfall, you are prepared to claim this region for the fatherland.

What are you here for? To find a way to harness the power of these spirits for the good of all mankind. The march of progress cannot be stopped, not even by the supernatural.

Take all these lands have to offer, and bring forward the dawn of a new age!

True, we've done a lot for the time being. With our machine set up, we'll have control of the Devas, and once the cure and vaccine's complete, we'll have some sway over the healers and lepers.

We should be able to leverage that into control over the shrines, and make use of the local healers and doctors through our medical research: If we can take hold of that section of the market, we should be able to turn that into political control -- It would be nice to be able to get some sleeper agents into things. The best takeover is a clean one, after all. I'd say this was a victory for us.

[...But I still don't know the meaning of "a day off". No matter, this is what my leadership/management skill is for. I'll spend the rest of the time micromanaging things here: It's one of my specialties, after all.]
