I don't want us to get hurt either, but I don't want to hurt others just to protect myself. I don't mind being hurt if no one else wants to take it. I found a bunch of cool scars on me while I was changing so I bet I'm good at it.

I also have a lot of cool scars! We can match.

Dying hurts a lot, so please--don't say stuff like that. I mean. . haha, I did, too! For the longest time.

And it hurt everyone around me. I. . it didn't hurt me nearly as much as it hurt them, and if something happened to you guys, even if you were okay with it, it'd definitely hurt me a lot.

But I don't think I could watch everyone get hurt and not be hurt either. I'm not okay with anyone getting hurt, but I'm even less okay with someone taking my share too.

We'll take turns, so no one's taking it all onto themselves.

...I will agree to that, as long as you don't exclude us from it. I won't let anyone take everything for themselves, but a family should take everything together.

I'm not happy about this but it's the better way I guess.

You said that you have been in our position before. Did you not feel terrible that you were to sit and do nothing as people died for you? Did you not feel...selfish?

I wasn't.

Every time before this I've yelled and fought Barghest over how to play, because I hate these. I hate hurting people. I hate watching people get hurt. And I've died, plenty of times. Sometimes just for doing that. My--my first game like this, I played most of it alone. [ and he lifts a hand, looks to the scar in the middle of his palm. ] I tore myself up and cried because I. . to try and save as many as I could, Nyssa told us to tear off our nails and cut open our hands and take something that started nightmares and I did it. I'd do it again. I'd do it a thousand times.

But I don't want to fight my team anymore. Even if I hate playing like this.
