By the by, there was an odd beam of light over the entrance to the bank. I assume that's some kind of safety mechanism.

YOU SUCCESSFULLY CRAWL FORWARD INTO THE VENT. . . .but the further and further you go, the narrower it gets.

Soon you get to an intersection; you can either go forward, or to the left.

From the left, there's a very faint scent of . . . daffodils? And ahead, there are traces of cinnamon. Besides that though, there are no other discernible differences.

Incidentally, it seems to be the right path; the space widens up and you can see light in the distance . . .when you get closer, you'll find it's an office. You can go farther, or you can descend here now.
