[You step into a very comfy, cozy room! A log fire is burning in the hearth, protected by a metal grate patterned with silver rose briars. In the center of the room is a glass table, surrounded by comfy chairs and couches in your team’s color. There is a window, but it’s completely fogged over . . . from the outside.
At the start of the game you’ll find the following items on top of the table:
- a sealed envelope labelled “Instructions.”
- a large glass orb containing 15 team-colored gems. This is in the very center of the table, and cannot be moved, broken, or tampered with in any way. A plaque at the bottom reads “Bank.”
- 6 indestructible cards, currently blank.
- 3 grooves in the glass, each just the right size for you to slot one of those cards into.]

Hand:
ENSHROUDMENT. (6) Invisibility hallucination. The afflicted can no longer see their teammates.
BRIAR. If successfully played against a team that targeted you, both teams will lose half of the Attack Card’s value. The Attack Card’s effect will be nullified.
MIRROR WRITING. (3) The afflicted will only be able to speak backwards, until they are affected by another card.
RIBBIT. (1) The irresistible urge to ribbit like a frog after every third word.
OVERCHARGE. (4) Hypersensitivity to touch.
ITCHING POWDER. (1) Suddenly and inexplicably itching powder.

((OOC: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, only one person per card will be afflicted! For example, if you find that one HICCUPS! card has been played against you, one teammate will begin hiccuping uncontrollably! If one HICCUPS! and one JELLY LEGS! have been played against you, one will be hiccuping and another will have a sudden case of very wobbly legs. Decide between yourselves who takes what.))
