[You step into a very comfy, cozy room! A log fire is burning in the hearth, protected by a metal grate patterned with silver rose briars. In the center of the room is a glass table, surrounded by comfy chairs and couches in your team’s color. There is a window, but it’s completely fogged over . . . from the outside.

At the start of the game you’ll find the following items on top of the table:

- a sealed envelope labelled “Instructions.”
- a large glass orb containing 15 team-colored gems. This is in the very center of the table, and cannot be moved, broken, or tampered with in any way. A plaque at the bottom reads “Bank.”
- 6 indestructible cards, currently blank.
- 3 grooves in the glass, each just the right size for you to slot one of those cards into.]

[I dunno about Overcharge, Zelos didn't want to use it. But Enshroudment and Mirror Writing, definitely.]

Ventus has no idea who he is. Again. Which means the shadow doesn't either.
So Ventus is blinking rather confusedly at everything, before blinking at the cards and lifting a couple up, then looking at Zelos The Icecube, then looking at the animals...]

Which is to say, Sol barks once and kind of motions his head toward the cards.]

... What - the cards?

Am I supposed to be doing something with these, or something?

[And his omnipresent shadow decides to speak up:

"What the fresh hell is this?"]

He picks up the Enshroudment card in his teeth and then tilts his head.]

... "Enshroudment".

Sure, okay. But what do I do with it, O Wise Fox? Since you seem to be know what you're doing.

[He's also gonna take a peek at the other cards again.]

"Mirror Writing"... "Overcharge"...
Yeesh. Whatever these are for, they sound harsh.

[He yips in a way that's basically meant to be don't worry the cat and I'll handle things

but it's really just a yip for all intents and purposes]

[putting a paw over ENSHROUDMENT and pushing it his way]

Yeah, yeah, the fox likes that one too.

I don't know what they're for, and I don't care. Do whatever you want with it.

[And from behind:

"What a bunch of annoying animals. Am I pet sitting or something?"]
