[ The Traveler steps in front of all of you, her arms raised dramatically! ]

Today, we take the first step of a very, very long journey together! This dream belongs to a young man, a criminal and his gang who on an otherwise normal heist has gotten in way over his head! Normally, this would be a nightmare, full of blood and death and abject horror!

Fortunately, I have taken the liberty of altering this dream so that it is completely safe and above all, fun! It would not do to have your first foray into the world of unreality to be so unwelcoming! The goal of this game is to survive, reach the end, and solve the mystery...

Is what most normal people would probably yell, but this guy's clearly a bit unhinged, judging by the crazy grin on his face even as he hesitates in confusion.

He fires a shot, but it's wildly off aim and grazes Blade's shoulder. There's no blood, or pain, though. Just a sticker that says 'WOUNDED' on his forehead. ]

[He flinches briefly, more at the expectation of pain than anything... but it doesn't stop his momentum, as he gets within a couple of feet and then LUNGES at his gun hand, jaws open and aiming to clamp down around his wrist.]

[ The guy screams as he's bitten, and drops his gun.

He starts punching at Blade's head, with his free hand. ]

[WOW RUDE.

Blade lets go of his hand and drops to the floor, shaking his head.]

KICKING DOGS IN THE FACE ]

and then changes back into a man suddenly, in order to PUNCH HIM IN THE GODDAMN FACE.]

[retrieving that gun, and looking around for the nervous guy.]

[ The GRINNING WHITE SUIT starts to crawl EAST. ]

[ The NERVOUS MAN rises from the crate, groaning. ]

Y-yeah, thanks...

shoots the white-suited guy in the leg.]

[ He grunts, stops crawling, and just starts laughing. ]

What, are ya gonna kill me now? Do it! Do it do it do it do it do it --

[actually he needs to take a moment to register that he just shot someone. thank goodness he does this when none of his girls are around to see him look kind of conflicted about this.]

No, because we're in a hurry.

[walks over and slams the handle of the gun into the guy's temple.]

We need to keep moving.

[ The NERVOUS MAN squeals a bit ]

Is there any way out of this car other than the door in the roof?
