AMALTHEA

[ The Traveler steps in front of all of you, her arms raised dramatically! ]

Today, we take the first step of a very, very long journey together! This dream belongs to a young man, a criminal and his gang who on an otherwise normal heist has gotten in way over his head! Normally, this would be a nightmare, full of blood and death and abject horror!

Fortunately, I have taken the liberty of altering this dream so that it is completely safe and above all, fun! It would not do to have your first foray into the world of unreality to be so unwelcoming! The goal of this game is to survive, reach the end, and solve the mystery...

The mystery of the Train Tracker!

I would prefer you not carry me. Ever.

Maybe you should think twice before shooting people, then.
goodbyenurse: (Don't make me come in there.)

It was an efficient means of determining who the murderers were. I determined that the musical cases were a good hiding spot for possible weaponry, and with a gun firing, it was worth checking. Moreover, we were able to determine that they were the shooters.

I did make an error in that I provided a warning before I attacked, but once the gun was drawn a full frontal assault was our only option. The spread and rate of fire on that weapon was too high to allow for escape.

It was still really needlessly risky. Don't go doing reckless things, all right?
goodbyenurse: (Staaaaaaaaaaaare)

[personal profile] goodbyenurse 2013-12-08 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
I do not make reckless actions. If I am doing something, it is because I have deemed it an efficient manner to arrive at the solution of a specific problem.

Shooting strangers who weren't drawing on you seems pretty reckless to me.

I was not going to shoot them if they had complied.

Their response served as reasonable suspicion.

Maybe he wouldn't have shot if you hadn't threatened him first.

You are right.

He would have gone into the next room and shot everyone there.

Besides, he called me girlie. I could not simply let that stand.

I would not know. Generally one is incapable of holding a conversation with oneself.

Unless they are insane, I suppose.

As satisfying as that would undoubtedly be, the key to the mystery lies in the opposite direction. The nervous young man seemed convinced that the "young conductor" knew something about the "Train Tracker". I vote for pursuing them.

Very well. In the interim we may set up an ambush of some sort, at least, should they catch up.

Of course.

Would you like to do the honors? You are, after all, the one they "killed".

[also if you have the gun I'm in less danger]

I do not think I can still wield weaponry.
