Well, we can't be sure it's the last round. It might go for five rounds, too. I think the longest I've ever seen a game go is six rounds, though.

Honestly speaking, I'd kind of like to do both, though I don't know if the echo in charge will allow us to. At the very least, I believe that if we just play the card, we're still going to have an unsatisfying ending, so even if we play the card, we're probably going to need to focus things.

That's true . . . I don't think she'll let us do both, though.

Mechanically speaking, the card is a guaranteed win, and the only guaranteed protection we have against other people using the card, so it's the one we should use for our score. On the other hand, I do think it's important to know the result of our own solution...

Wouldn't it be safer for the dragon and the princess to flee, and leave behind the er, hoard with a note? To leave them be, maybe? A bribe.

Well, my current idea is some sort of transformation accessory that allows the dragon to take on a human form. Then the dragon can court us in a more "traditional" way.

Well, I suspect their fundamental nature is a bit different from ours. This kind of thing might literally be their way of working through things. Admittedly, it wouldn't have been a game, but it would have been something, though we may not have seen it.

Honestly, we don't really know enough about Echoes to be certain, though.

T-True... That's why I didn't really want to... say it. I mean, there's a whole lot I'm probably missing here. So for me, it's more like... "If I could do anything, why this?"

B-But there's also the chance that... they can't really do "anything." Just more than us? Or... Differently than us.
