[You exit the parlor through a doorway in your team's color and find yourself in some kind of entry hall. Aside from the one behind you, there are four doors - one on each of the side walls, and two opposite the entrance - each with an image carved into it. They're a bit hard to make out, however, since only one torch on the far wall is lit, lending the place a gloomy atmosphere. What you can see is that the room, once richly decorated, is now a mess; the walls are covered in peeling, royal purple wallpaper, and great swaths of the ceiling are coated with sticky cobwebs. The floor is covered with large marble tiles, inlaid with some kind of swirling design in glittering gold - but sadly, it too is out of shape. The tiles seem to shift a bit under your weight, and some of them are even missing altogether.

If you try the doors you'll find that all of them are locked, and no amount of manhandling can get them to budge.]

[OOC: This game is a treasure hunt/dungeon crawl! Your characters will be exploring the rooms they pass through and facing different challenges in each one. Some rooms will be exploratory, others will have specific rules! The goal is just to reach the end. Teams will be scored on things like teamwork, cleverness, creativity, etc.

Skills are ON, but there will be penalties if you mess up Knut's castle. He lives here, you know!]

Cut still isn't used to not having depth perception. To be honest, it's unlikely he'll be able to cross without help.

[Then, I suppose it's time for us to cross? Slowly and cautiously, but there are still two of us crossing at a time.

Still, Lucky should be on distracting duty if the thing wakes up.]

[ Sob, Lucky is so understanding. Cut still feels pretty bad, weighing them down, so he just nods at the both of them. ]

[ Holding onto Dissolve's sleeve, he'll follow behind her. He's thankfully light, but even then, he moves as quietly and slowly as possible, more so since he's trailing behind someone. ]

oh whoops, halfway across Diz looked down. she's suddenly hit with a sense of vertigo and start to wobble!

Cut is doing okay though, and stabilizes her enough to finish crossing! Ironically enough.]

[Ugh, vertigo is the worst. Let me recover a bit now that we're done that.]

Now then, the next is... the rope, huh...?

[ Phew, they got that over with. Good thing that Dissolve didn't fall, so now here they are at the end. ]

[ Cut looks up at the rope. ]

We have to climb this up to the top or something?

[reaches out to steady Diz as they approach the other end]

Not bad, not bad, you two~ D'you want me to test the rope first, too? I bet we do have to climb to the top.

That might be fore the best, yeah.

Sorry for making you take point like this all the time.

[with that and a mock salute, he tugs on the rope to make sure it an carry his weight, before he begins to climb it easily]

[It can hold your weight just fine! It's like a standard gym climbing rope.]

[excellent! up he goes, to the nearest platform, then!]

[Reaching the platform you see that there are five more, each placed some distance apart. You'll be able to jump across, though you might need a running start- and be careful, they wobble a little when you get too close to the edge. Don't worry too much about falling though! There are large webs hanging below to catch anyone who stumbles...with massive black spiders circling the edges hungrily. How...helpful.]

[ Looks like Lucky got up to the platform. ]

How does it look up there?

. . . we don't wanna fall off these platforms. Trust me.

That doesn't sound good. It can't be helped, though. We've made it far enough that turning back isn't an option. Cut, do you want to go first, or should I?

[sakazuki]

[ ... Does Cut even want to know what happens if they do? Well, guess he'll find out after... ]

Uh, I-I'll... go first. Probably best this way...

[ Considering what Dissolve is wearing... So he'll take the rope and try to slowly climb it as well, unless Dissolve has to say anything to object. ]

Then, I'll go up once you're finished. There's not much I can do to help in this case, so it's up to you.

[leans over the edge of the platform and extends his hand, so he an help Cut up when he gets closer to the top]

There are giant black spiders crawling across a web underneath the platforms. I dunno about you guys, but I don't wanna be spider food.

[ Taking Lucky's hand to get up properly and all, but... ]

... Giant black spiders, are you serious...
