GULGALLANA & TIAMAT
[You exit the parlor through a doorway in your team's color and find yourself in some kind of entry hall. Aside from the one behind you, there are four doors - one on each of the side walls, and two opposite the entrance - each with an image carved into it. They're a bit hard to make out, however, since only one torch on the far wall is lit, lending the place a gloomy atmosphere. What you can see is that the room, once richly decorated, is now a mess; the walls are covered in peeling, royal purple wallpaper, and great swaths of the ceiling are coated with sticky cobwebs. The floor is covered with large marble tiles, inlaid with some kind of swirling design in glittering gold - but sadly, it too is out of shape. The tiles seem to shift a bit under your weight, and some of them are even missing altogether.
If you try the doors you'll find that all of them are locked, and no amount of manhandling can get them to budge.]
[OOC: This game is a treasure hunt/dungeon crawl! Your characters will be exploring the rooms they pass through and facing different challenges in each one. Some rooms will be exploratory, others will have specific rules! The goal is just to reach the end. Teams will be scored on things like teamwork, cleverness, creativity, etc.
Skills are ON, but there will be penalties if you mess up Knut's castle. He lives here, you know!]

Where to, then? I'm assuming we have to leave this room somehow, just like the last two.

[Looking for one anyways, though... If there isn't another mousehole or something to use, this will be really painful.]

This room is huge so it's better if we try to cover more ground in a shorter amount of time. We can meet back here in ten minutes to share what we've found.

[ That can't wait ten minutes so walking off to that side of the room now. ]

You also spot something else behind a throw pillow...something shiny.]
no subject
[ But the throw pillow... Okay, trying to move and check behind that! ]
no subject
Behind the pillow you find a small lump of coppery metal in the shape of a wedge, like a large slice of orange. You can't imagine how it would be useful in this room, but you get a strong sense that this is something you should hold onto. Maybe it's the fact that it's the only thing in the room scaled to your own size.]

[ For the... weird copper wedge, he literally has no idea what the hell it is. He honestly can't imagine what it would be, but this is a discovery, especially his size, so he'll grab that. ]
[ He'll go through this couch one more time, though, to make sure that he's not missing anything. ]
no subject
There doesn't seem to be anything else of note on or in the couch.]
no subject
[ But okay, guess this couch is done, so getting the toothpicks and wedge, Cut jumps back down onto ground level and heads back to the hole that his group came from. That was about ten minutes, time to wait for the rest and share info. ]
no subject
What'd you find?
no subject
The couch had a bunch of things: coins, a receipt, shoehorn, but they're all oversized like everything else in the room. Got back a few toothpicks, though.
[ He nudges them with his foot, about four of them piled on the floor. ]
But there's this weird copper thing. I have no idea what it is, but thought it might be important.
[ And pulling out the properly sized wedge from his pocket to show it. ]
no subject
Your teammate found another hole, though it also looks like someone tried to seal it with boards. I think we should go that way. 'M not sure we can make it through the door.
[holding out the toothpick with a grin]
We can use these to pry the boards away.
no subject
[ He puts the wedge back in his pocket and picks up two toothpicks, one in each hand. ]
Don't know how strong these might be against boards, but let's give it a shot. There's a whole box of these so we can break as many as we want and still have more.

[Nods at Cut, then makes his way to the hole behind the trashcan that Diz revealed. TIME TO TRY PRYING THESE BOARDS AWAY. with toothpicks]
