[ it is a very bad kitty indeed, spitting and hissing and generally fighting hard to keep in control. The cat you find is mostly white in color with faintly blue eyes. She is large, obviously wild—you can't help but feel unfortunately so on both accounts—but in spite of her size, she seems to be barely more than a kitten. She wears a black collar with four heart-shaped tags, ❤❤❤; the fourth is silver and reads NYSSA. ]

[holding the cat by the scruff so that it will stop moving so much, and eases it onto the counter so that it can be wrapped up in a towel or leashed or subdued some other way. despite that, she is still being gentle enough with the cat, and speaking calmly]

Nyssa, you are a very bad kitty, and you need to calm down so that you don't hurt yourself or your owner.

There are a series of cages back here with a clear division between four on the right and all the others on the left, not the least of which is that the majority of the cages on the left are small enough to be double-stacked.

Into the first and only empty cage on the right, he carefully puts the cub. ]

These four, there's probably nothing you can do anything for. I've just gotta hold em here. It's these others I need help with. Let me just make sure I've got this cage secured, first...

[ As he checks the lock, a butterfly materializes and hovers close to you. It gives off a faintly warm feeling. Now would be the time to use your bug catcher. ]

[Daisy quickly takes out her bug catcher and tries to capture the butterfly]

[ SHE CATCHES IT! yay daisy ]

These four.

[ he points to a series of four cages, one of which he stands in front of. Aside from the snow leopard cub he just dropped in, the next one is a leopard, and the last two are cheetahs. You can't make out the majority of the tags on their collars, but there's a silver one on the front of them for each, respectively reading NYSSA, NAFUNA, AKASHA, YAKSINIS. ]

Naw, we only lost one cat today. You could go put up fliers for him, if you wanted. But the ones I wanted your help with are over here.

Each of these guys has something wrong with him or her that needs to be fixed. Some of are sick for one reason or another and some of 'em are injured.

Poor things. Of course I'll help. I've got some poultices that might help if they're in pain or wounded.

I've got some ointment and bandages here for the ones that have abrasions. If there's a broken bone, you'll need to splint it. You can use that space—

[ He points to a long stretch of empty counter top to the right side of the room ]

To do your work if you need more room. And a chart over here on the counter so you can figure out what ails them a little better. Some of them aren't sick in body but in heart. And others are just stubborn as fuck.

Oh, there you are. We've got a lot of wounded ones in here. He says some of them are hurt in their bodies and in their hearts, and they all need to be mended.

What's a vet? We're just helping them with what we can.

Great. If you're ready, you can find everything you need over at the counter.

[ You can see a whole pile of useful medical items: blankets, bandages, antibiotic ointment, the clipboard with the aforementioned chart, gauze, and metal poles. There's also catnip, paper towels, and other cleaning supplies. ]

I'm gonna go up front and see about calling around to find out where that lazy ass has gotten off to; I'll trust you ladies to do what you can.

Sick, probably. But, uh, let me get the antibiotic - that's easy enough to figure out.
