You wake slowly … and realize that you have absolutely no idea where you are. Or, more importantly, who you are. No matter how hard you try, you can’t remember a single scrap of your life.
You’re laying in a stasis pod, fortunately, with the lid up! There’s a whole row of the things, each with a person inside, and you’re all wearing the same thing: a simple pair of white hospital PJs that fit you exactly. A pair of matching hospital slippers can be found on the floor by your pod. An IV stand also sits next to your pod, a bag of fluids dangling from its hooks; the IV tube is dangling loose.
The room you're in is completely white and sterile, with the scent of antibiotic gel filling your nostrils. There's futuristic looking computer terminal with a stool for sitting in the front of the room, although the lights are off and everything at the terminal is powered down.
There's a foggy window to your left and a fancy, electronic door to your right. The latter is currently locked. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be anything else of note in this room. Besides your pods and yourselves, of course.
[She looks around, confused and curious, trying extremely hard to figure out what in the world is going on. Instinctively she walks over to the terminal and looks for a button or some way to turn it on.]
There’s an office desk strewn with stuff; piles of notebooks, a few newspaper clippings. A half completed crossword puzzle, and a sudoku grid that was clearly filled in with pencil, failed spectacularly, and then erased to try again.
A coffee mug filled with frigidly cold black coffee … and another one, almost empty. And another one, half full. And another one, two big gulps would’a finished it off. A mostly full bag of gummy bears. A lab coat flung over the back of the spinny office chair, with a pair of bright blue rubber gloves hanging out of the pocket.
[Lapis claims the labcoat, the sleeves flopping over the ends of her hands, and the coat itself dragging on the ground. However, she uses the moment to pick up a few of the glass shards with the back side of thegloves and put them in a pocket for the future.

So many buttons.
Though it does look like it has touchscreen capabilities, so maybe tapping the screen would be enough.
