..."Every shiny thing you could possibly imagine" is it? Still, this probably when people are going to start using the Wheel of Fortune, so if we're going to use it, now's the time to do so.

Probably can't imagine a genie's lamp... Though, what if there's another round?

I wonder. We might be able to. Practically speaking though, if need be, we could always establish our own mercenary army.

That's the risk of using it now. Games tend to end on odd numbers, usually 3 and 5, so it could end this round, or it could end in two rounds. There's no way to be sure, either way. Of course, everyone else is in the same position as us, so they're probably thinking about this too.

Oh! I think... I get it. If they use it, then we lose no matter how good we plan, right? S-So... Better to get the win just in case?

That's what I'm thinking, yes... Though, I would kind of like it if we can work to solve it as well. I don't think we'll get a satisfying ending unless we make one ourselves.

It's kind of hard since we can only use it at the start of the round, but... I don't mind imagining what we can do. I mean, we are the princess, so...

... I wonder if the princess could somehow become the queen herself and make her own rules...

Well, we could become the queen if our parents were to die, but are you sure that's a step we want to take?

Er, not really... [ though it's a little hard to tell how we feel about anyone other than our girlfriend. dragon. ] And since it's "no matter the cost," we can't just... leave, either, I guess.

Well, one possibility, if we're imagining up things, is some sort of transformation accessory. Something that can fit on the dragon. With its hoard, it could easily pass for a prince, who could ask for our hand in marriage.

O-Or a potion or a scroll... Unless it should be temporary.

That's a possibility too, of course, but hoard doesn't guarantee anything we can imagine, but any shiny thing we can imagine. So it's a question of... Would the potion or scroll be shiny?

Well, we can't be sure it's the last round. It might go for five rounds, too. I think the longest I've ever seen a game go is six rounds, though.

What would you rather do, then? Solve the scenario, or use the card?

Honestly speaking, I'd kind of like to do both, though I don't know if the echo in charge will allow us to. At the very least, I believe that if we just play the card, we're still going to have an unsatisfying ending, so even if we play the card, we're probably going to need to focus things.

but you do now understand that while you can try to find a solution for ACADEMIC PURPOSES and also still use a card, before the results are given you must specify whether the card or your solution is what your points will be based off of. ]

It seems like we can choose to do both, though only one will give us points, naturally.

Mechanically speaking, the card is a guaranteed win, and the only guaranteed protection we have against other people using the card, so it's the one we should use for our score. On the other hand, I do think it's important to know the result of our own solution...

I . . . well, fantasy isn't something I'm very good at, but . . .

Wouldn't it be safer for the dragon and the princess to flee, and leave behind the er, hoard with a note? To leave them be, maybe? A bribe.
