[You come out the window and you’re...on a pyramid?! Surrounded by the ocean. You have enough room to stand, but not much else. However, not too far, you can see a different structure structure rising from the water. The sky also seems to be covered in noen lights, making it hard to see beyond.]

[You can hear a violin from the other structure.]

[it is pretty cool out here, but he's the most curious about that violin. . . can he jump down the sides of the pyramid and head towards it, because that is what he's doing. AT LEAST HE'S AN ACROBAT SO THIS SHOULDN'T BE HARD]

So maybe he can just fly there. He's not a Rogue of Void, he's not sure what he got but the symbol is the same as John's? but if it's a game then flight seems like a standard skillset type thing.

And besides, if he can't swim, why not try flying?

So attempting to fly to the place is happening. He found her flight shard once, so it's probably just like that, right...?]

[She considers the ocean, and remembers Otacon's heart. It'd be a lie to say she wasn't nervous, even afraid, of swimming in those dark depths.

But she wants to help. The thought of that renews her conviction. So she steels herself and jumps in, doggy-paddling toward where the violin sounds are coming from.]

[She's going to take a moment to sit down and concentrate, trying to feel out her class powers. The Rogue of Void can steal nothingness and make something real, so it falls to logic that the Rogue of Life could steal something's life and make things dead. That is the absolute last thing Nightingale wants, but she also remembers what Roxy said before, when they discussed her power, and how open-ended it is.

Maybe a Rogue of Life isn't going to steal life out of something, but steal something that's alive. She's going to try to focus on that idea, and steal the living creature Nix, bringing it to her.]

[Lace has already hit the walls with some princelyness, Kaito's fucked with gears and connections, Sakura was already giving some work arounds, and Hydra basically put the time on pause. So it was waiting for something to make it GO.]

[So here's what Nightingale gets as she's pulling.]

[Time is uncertainty, change, inevitable, death. But the room has lost it's balanced, it's been steeped in death, in belief that things will only die, but you'll still be here, because that's how it goes. It won't change it won't change it won't change and ALL FALL TO RUIN.]

[But there are cracks, ready to be used. The pathways to everywhere else are THERE, and there's a pull. Pull and pull and pull and you have her, you have NIX.]

[There is a purple transportalizer, but it is currently inactive.]

[You heard a violin rendition of this.]

[Aside from the two pyramids, however, you can see quite a number of other pyramids, and even islands made of sand. There's some plant life, not a whole lot, but some.] Really, if you wanted, you could get to the other structure with minimal time in the water.]

[ when he sees this ocean he's just... stunned, overwhelmed. he could give a damn about stupid pyramids and neon lights and whatever else is out there. right now? what's got his interest is this expanse of water. his heart is racing and he clutches the front of his dress-thing. thing he had bliss driving Yoshi into the water before? nah, that ain't nothing compared to this feeling ]

He lowers himself to a seat, letting himself not only look, but see, focusing mainly on the house (?????????) in the distance and what might come of it if he were to step foot in there.]

[What he sees is ruin. Ravages of time wearing down and breaking things apart and it all leads to one singular point of inevitably: you will be alone.]

[The ocean below him SCREAMS that, however, and it's hard to not notice when it's part of the backdrop of everything.]

[But there is also something else in trying to change it. Right now, if he doesn't go, there is not an unreasonable amount of rage. To go risks something else. Worries, fears, accusation of total mental rewriting. Currently, going is about a twenty percent chance of decreased rage, and an eighty percent chance for increase.]

[It should be noted something by his feet lacks rage entirely.]
