( circumstances have conspired to separate those who went into the maze, splitting them into three groups, with each group taking one fork in the road.

a wisp of light guides them forward, gleefully bobbing up and down, slowing down just enough so it doesn't lose those following it, then speeding off around the next corner as soon as they start to catch up. )

( it’s unlocked and pushes open easily! entering the room, you find yourself inside a giant penthouse suite. across the way, you can see another door—perhaps leading to a bedroom or an office?

unfortunately, you’re not alone. three dogs, previously sleeping, perk up as you enter the room. )

The radio ... or the food if that doesn't work.

( turning on the radio has an even stronger effect on the dogs than you; they go from alert to catching some proper z’s in just seconds. better get moving before they wake up! )

( going through the door, you find yourself in an office. on the desk there is a computer, a notebook and a torn-off piece of paper. there is a bookshelf filled with a multitude of volumes against the left wall. it would be pretty standard, if not for the giant safe floor-to-ceiling wall safe taking up the back wall. )

[I WANT TO READ ALL THE BOOKS. ALL OF THEM]

( checking out the bookshelf, you notice that one volume sticks out further than all the rest, revealing a bright red bookmark stuck between its pages. )

What's with the giant safe?

( candy. surely, it can only contain candy. )

[ being someone from Gunsmoke, one look at the safe is all she needs to start eyeing that dynamite of Maya's. while ushering everyone inside so they can shut and lock the door behind them. ]
