EPONA + RATATOSKR + TIAMAT + JACK PANTHER
[You are ushered out of the parlor and into a cozy sitting room. The storm continues to rage outside, but a roaring fire keeps the room nice and toasty.
As you enter, you find your clothes have changed to something vaguely 1940s Noir-ish and appropriate to your character. You all look very dapper, though you may be surprised to suddenly find yourself cross-dressing. At the same time, knowledge suddenly enters your mind- the role you will be playing in tonight's performance, information on some of your fellow guests, and the rules of the game, as well as the setup for the story.]
[RULES:
THIS IS A MURDER MYSTERY GAME! Investigate your surroundings, speak to your fellow guests, and solve the mystery! Points will be given for completing goals and appropriate IC roleplaying.
You can make private, friends-locked posts to other players for secret discussions, but you MUST include
squeakofthedevil on the filter and drop a link here!]
NOTE: In this group, the parts of Kira Graves and Tod Mises are unclaimed. ICly, Kira will have been unable to attend due to both of her children being ill. Tod simply refused the invitation because he thinks his dad is a jerk.

ROUND 2
Dear friends, I deeply regret to say that I have terrible, awful news for you all. Just a few minutes ago, the gardener was retrieving something from outside and discovered...the body of Master Graves. Master Philip Graves is dead!
It appears that he fell from the balcony of his office on the third floor. I am no doctor, but he must have hit his head and it...please forgive me, it is too gruesome to tell. Furthermore, and I do hate to suggest such a thing, but...the railing of the balcony is very secure and of a proper height...I do not believe this was an accident. I believe that Master Graves was murdered.
The police have already been called, but there is no way they will be able to arrive until this terrible storm passes. Until then, I strongly recommend that you do not wander about on your own! There may be a killer among us!
[OOC: Round two is the bulk of the game! Your characters are now free to move about the mansion, investigate whatever they wish, and continue speaking to the other characters to gather clues and pursue their goals. The butler is always available to answer any questions you may have...within reason, of course.]

Right! There...there must be some clue!

Re: ROUND 2
[Ignore how she looks roughed up, she had to summon a grey bottle from nowhere, break it, and pick up a crumpled piece of paper with the corner torn off, THAT IS ALL TOTALLY NORMAL.]
[Reading the will for you all.]
[The will states that all of Phil's shares in his company are to be liquidated and turned over to various charities. Phil's personal accounts are to be split evenly between his children. Layne gets to keep the car and some jewelry.]
[Watching reactions.]
