[Kaito's Heart]
[A gust of wind rushes past you, so strong that you nearly stumble backwards from the force. You hear whispers in your ear, an unfamiliar voice saying, no, not here, not now, go back, before your senses shut off entirely]
[You wake up again to find yourself in a room]
((#dragonheart on IRC for this heart party aw yeah))
[You wake up again to find yourself in a room]
((#dragonheart on IRC for this heart party aw yeah))

THE THEATER
[You open your eyes to find yourself sitting in a squishy, comfortable red theater seat. You're in the very front row, with dozens of other rows stretching behind you all the way up to the back wall. There, you can find door with a bright red "EXIT" sign hanging above it, the glowing letters illuminating the darkness. The walls and floors of the theater are decorated with hairline cracks, and although the seats are comfortable, there are small tears in the arms. It's damage you might not notice unless you're looking for it, though]
[A polished wooden stage framed with thick red curtains stretching out in front of you. And standing on that stage. . . is none other than Kaito himself]
. . . eh? What the heck. . .? What're you guys doing here?
[He is, understandably, bewildered]
Re: THE THEATER

WELP
Look, I understand you're here to. . . [trails off, his frown deepening] Help. But I can't--
[he lifts a hand]
I can't let you.
Sorry.
[And with a snap of his fingers, trap doors open below each and every one of you, sending you all plummeting into the darkness below. . .]
DRESSING ROOM
[There are counters lining the back wall of the dressing room, rows of lights framing a large mirror that hangs on the wall above them. Miscellaneous items are strewn across the tops as well: colorful brochures (all of them reading "LIVE FOR TONIGHT ONLY: ILLUSIONIST, KUROBA KAITO!"), stage makeup and other disguise materials, top hats, playing cards, and stringy wigs. A red notebook stands out amongst the clutter. On the wall next to the mirror is a clothing rack filled with colorful costumes. Some of the objects have fallen off of the counters and are strewn across the floor as well, so make sure you don't trip! The entire room is a bit. . . disorganized and messy.]
[There are hairline cracks decorating the floors and walls in this room, too. Perhaps you can smell the faint scent of smoke in the air. . .]
[There are three doors in this room. On your left, a door with a four-leaf clover painted on the front. On your right, a door with a white dove. And in front of you, a door with a reddish-purple dragon.]
[What do you do?]
Re: DRESSING ROOM
[Well that didn't hurt my feeling at all, nope. Scrubs a hand over her face, and then, with a sigh, goes to check out that notebook.]

If I had to take a guess... 'Lucky,' from back when he was with Trick. Then the dove is probably from his world before he was Lucky, when he was Kaito. And the dragon? That's now. [Nodnod.]
We should split up.

HEART AND SMILE (CLOVER)
[There's also a single normal table that people can sit at. It looks like it has all sorts of board games scattered across it.]
[There are hairline cracks running across the ground and walls of this room, too. The faint scent of smoke hasn't left your nose, either]
[Everything looks pretty unassuming, but. . . looks can be deceiving, right?]
Re: HEART AND SMILE (CLOVER)
[The grumbling is a sorta shaky attempt to cheer herself up.]

DRAGON'S COVE (DRAGON)
[The ship itself is moored to a pier enclosed in a cavern. There seems to be a door in front of you that leads to the ship's captain's quarters. There also seems to be a stairwell that leads below deck]
[Hairline cracks dance across the entirety of the ship as well, and you can't seem to shake that faint whiff of smoke that tickles your nose. . .]

TO NEW HEIGHTS (DOVE)
[Up ahead, you can see two other skyscraper rooftops in front of you. One of them has a freestanding door, while the other has something sparkling brightly on top of it. Both rooftops are within jumping distance, to a certain extent. . . though getting across may require clever use of telephone wires, flag poles, and parkour. But hey, trying to get to it should be an adventure, right? Just make sure not to fall-- there are police cars and flashing red-and-blue lights down below. Besides. . . taking a tumble might hurt]
[The hairline cracks and scent of smoke have followed you to this room-- if it can be called a room-- as well.]

CASTLE DUNGEONS
[Yes, that's right. The ceiling is covered in marionette puppets. Most of them are crude recreations of the Echoes, and all of them are in various states of wear and tear. Echoes like the Yaksins, Nyssa, and Wilder are worse off than most, while Echoes like Delriza are in pristine condition.]
[What's even more noticeable than the puppets, however, is the large, Tiamat-colored dragon curled up in one corner of the room. It seems to be blocking a large vault door and chewing on. . . a Queen puppet? That may be a Queen puppet, but it's kind of hard to tell since it's. . . you know. Missing its head]
[The smell of smoke is thick in this room, mostly because it's seeping in through the cracks in the walls. In addition to the door you came through and the vault, there's another unassuming door in this room, as well as a replica of the portal that leads to the echo chamber]

SANCUTARY
[The area feels awfully small, but not claustrophobic. The lights in the room are dim, and despite the chaos, everything feels almost. . . reverent.]
[A man sits in a cushioned chair in the middle of the room-- those who have seen Kaito's memories know him as Toichi. Next to his chair is a bookcase, which is stuffed to capacity with a multi-colored assortment of novels. A coffee table sits in front of him with a tea set on it, though an assortment of small, palm-sized items are spread out across the table as well.]
[The walls of this room are covered in more cracks, and the scent of smoke is much thicker here. There are three doors in this room: the one you walked through, one unassuming door to your right, and one very large, very locked vault door right in front of you. The man is leaning forward in his chair, frowning deeply at the vault]

KAITO'S PRISON
[A wall that Kaito is slumped against, unconscious]
[His head is bowed forward so his chin touches his torso, eyes closed. You can see blood dripping down the side of his temple, and there's dried blood caked in his hair on the back of his head. The trail of blood spattered on the ground leads up to him, so there's no doubt who the donor is]
[Next to him is a thick, metallic vault door. The thick smell of smoke fills the air, and no wonder-- there's smoke wafting into the room from all of those cracks]

TRUE HEART
[There's a window in this room as well, one that looks out onto a fully lit night sky. The moon is full and the stars twinkle playfully right back at you. Despite the nature of the room, the entire area feels playful and inviting]
[Kaito is sitting on top of the poker table, hands folded in front of him. His wound isn't bleed anymore, thankfully, but the front of his shirt is very well-stained at this point. He pulls up a sheepish grin]
Ha ha. . . that sure did take a lot of work, huh? I can't. . . heal you completely, but I can. . .
[He gestures towards another ring of light; another save point, though this one is much smaller]
Help a little bit?
[Anyone who steps inside will find that their injuries are haled to the point of "non-fatal" and "you can be conscious again." Which. . . may not be much, but hey, it's something]
